Career Twin is built by Career Ventures Public Benefit Corporation. This policy explains what information we collect when you interact with this site, how we use it, and the rights you have over your data. We've written it the way we'd want to read it — plainly, without legal theatre.

01Who we are

This site is operated by Career Ventures Public Benefit Corporation ("Career Ventures," "we," "us," or "our"). Career Twin is one of our products. You can reach us at hello@careerventures.ai for any question about your data or this policy.

02What we collect

When you submit the early-access form on careertwin.com, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • The date and time you submitted the form
  • The country your request came from (derived from your IP by our network provider, not stored against your identity beyond a two-letter country code)

We do not collect anything else. We do not use analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or third-party cookies on this site.

03How we use what we collect

We use your name and email to:

  • Notify you when Career Twin opens for early beta
  • Send occasional updates about the product as it takes shape
  • Reply to messages you send us

We will not sell, rent, or share your contact information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We will not enrol you in any other mailing list without telling you first.

04Where we store it

Your submission is stored in two places:

  • Cloudflare Workers KV — our serverless storage layer, which holds the record of your submission so we can write back to you.
  • Beehiiv (optional) — our newsletter platform, when active. If your email reaches our Beehiiv list, you receive the same privacy treatment Beehiiv extends to all subscribers. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email we send.

Both providers maintain their own privacy practices. Cloudflare's policy is available at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy. Beehiiv's policy is at beehiiv.com/privacy.

05Cookies and tracking

This site does not set cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any similar tracking script. The only requests your browser makes are to load the page, the fonts (Google Fonts), and to submit your form when you choose to.

06Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

  • Access the data we hold about you
  • Correct anything that's inaccurate
  • Delete your record entirely
  • Export your data in a portable format

Email hello@careerventures.ai with the request. We aim to respond within seven business days. There is no cost.

If you're in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or California, you have specific rights under your local data-protection law — including under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK Data Protection Act, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). All of those rights apply through the same email channel above.

07How long we keep your data

We keep your record for as long as you remain on the early-access list. You can ask us to delete it at any time (see Section 06). If Career Twin doesn't ship as planned, we will notify you and delete the list within thirty days, unless you tell us otherwise.

08International transfers

Our storage providers operate globally. Your data may be processed in, or transferred through, countries other than the one you live in — including the United States. Where required by your local law, we rely on standard contractual clauses or other approved transfer mechanisms with our providers.

09Children

Career Twin is built for working professionals. The site is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact hello@careerventures.ai and we will delete the record.

10Security

We use industry-standard protections: encrypted connections (HTTPS) for every page, encrypted storage for your record, and least-privilege access controls on our backend. No system is impervious; if a breach affecting your data ever occurs, we will notify you and the relevant supervisory authorities as soon as required under applicable law.

11Changes to this policy

If we update this policy materially, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top, and where the change affects how we use existing data, we will email you before the change takes effect.
